Maybe: By 8 weeks 2 days you expect to see a heart beat on ultrasound. It is possible that you are not as far along as you think or that this is a blighted ovum/missed miscarriage. To be sure you can check quantitaive HCG's and look for the appropriate doubling or do a repeat ultrasound in 1 week. Remember that this sort of thing is not because of something you did or didn't do. Hope this helps.
