Early Pregnancy & US: The important thing is to know when you ovulated. You really can't know at this point. You may actually be further along and this absence of the fetal pole indicates an abnormal pregnancy or simply you are too early. Without knowing the day of ovulation, you must simply repeat the US in about a week. By then, fetal pole and heart beat should be evident.
