Talk with your doc: The fact that you raise the question suggests that you are having some post partum depression which is not uncommon. If it persists for a few weeks or interferes with your functioning, sleep or care of the baby or if there are thoughts about hurting yourself or the baby, that would show a need for immediate care by a doctor. To be on the safe side you should talk it over with your doctor now.

If you are questioning whether you are depressed you may need to have a consultation with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy who can help you understand yourself better. If it turns out you need psychotherapy and/or medication then you will know you had professional guidance to make that decision. Depression is increased due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
