Hello. : Hello. You may well have depression. Depression can also lead to sleeping too much or not enough. To either not eating or gorging. It can cause one to feel helpless or hopeless and lose confidence in one's self. It can cause problems with memory or concentration. Your mood could be sad, angry, fearful, anxious or irritable. Isolation is common. If you feel like you want to take your life and that you might act on it, please get immediate help at an er. Even if you don't have imminent thoughts of suicide, depression is treatable and you deserve to see a good psychologist or psychiatrist. Have hope. Get help.

DEPRESSION: Get an evaluation from a psychiatrist to help identify what depression means to you and whatever else may be bothering you. Consider recommendations for medication if any are given. Get a referral for a reputable psychotherapist to speak with. Meds and therapy combined are most optimal; no just one or the other.

Yes. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to know if you have a physical illness. If you are cleared consult with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy to help you with ZOOM & a Psychiatrist for medication. If uncomfortable with your current Psychiatrist seek a 2nd opinion. Your fears are heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay hopeful to elevate your immunity.
