Subtle but real: The average growing teenager requires 9 hours of sleep to remain healthy, perform well & achieve potential height.Growth hormone comes out in higher quantity during periods of sleep but it is not continuous. Poor sleep habits lead to weakened immunity, poor daytime performance, sleep walking or talking.
