Check with dentist: Check with your dentist or periodontist, most likely the hole you feel was the buildup of calculus that was removed. Check with your dentist to make sure and rule out any decay.

It is normal: It is likely that you finally have tartar removed between your teeth and it feels like a "hole". If you are not certain or concern, see your dentist for re-evaluation. Good luck.

Recession: Accumulation of plaque or tarter can cause gum and bone recession. Recession disguised by unhealthy inflammation of gums. After cleaning inflammation heals, revealing the gum recession that appears as black triangles between the teeth. Evaluation by a Periodontist may be in order.
