My glands are swollen under my tongue, if i have a salivary gland infection is it contagious?

Not likely: A salivary gland infection is not very common and and it is also not very contagious. You may have blocked salivary gland which will make it swollen and painful. If it is not a salivary gland that is swollen but rather a lymph node, your mouth/oral/ respiratory infection is more contagious .
