Pregnant?: You can't have an ectopic pregnancy without being pregnant and so the first thing I would do is do a home pregnancy test. It's unlikley that you're pregnant if you've had a period lasting 3 days and with heaviness. An ectopic pregnancy might cause more severe pain. It's unlikely so long as you've never had tubal surgery nor STDs.
