A member asked:

Taste disturbance after having white filling put in..its been a week. is this normal or should i get help?

Ask your dentist!: Since only your dental professional knows the composition of the filling, only s'he knows if the filling itself is causing a temporary taste disturbance. The filling material may haven't "set" properly or a secondary dental infection may have developed. Alternatively, the taste disturbance may be caused by something completely unrelated to your recent dental procedure..
