I want to start using anti-baby pills, should i do a hormonal blood test first? can i discuss this with my family doc or i need to see a gynecologist?

Family doc is ok: If you want to take pills to keep you from getting pregnant you can usually get them from a family doctor. It isn't usually necessary to get a blood test before starting them, although you may have to wait until your next period before you take your first pill. Best wishes!

No need for tests: If you are having regular menses, you can start birth control pills the day that you start your menses. You should take them daily and about the same time every day. You can discuss contraception with your family doc.
