No worries: Every baby born in the US since the late 1980's probably has gotten the series of 3 Hepatitis B vaccines. Surely these kids all grew up and are donating blood every day in this country. The problem sounds like the blood bank has to decide whether or not a person has a real positive or false positive Hep B surface antigen test. Probably a person can talk with the blood bank physician about details.
