Yes: At your young age with no family hx of colon cancer, it would be highly unlikely that your sx represent colon cancer. Bright red blood specks on toilet paper suggest lower rectal bleeding (not within stool, thus negative hemoccult test) & is much more likely hemorrhoidal in nature.

Too young for it!: Colon care is uncommon under the age of 50 years, so you should not live under this fear when you are so young. The fact that your doctor has checked you and found hemorrhoids as the cause of your questionable bleeding. Once you get to the age of 45-50 years. screening with Colonoscopy would be the best security to avoid any fear of this Cancer which is easily detectable and preventable.
