Get the booster!: The 4 week interval from 1st flu shot to booster shot is the MINIMUM interval recommended, so waiting a little longer is not a problem. Four weeks is when the immunity from the 1st shot begins to decrease, so it needs "boosted" with a second shot for maximum effect. She will still get an excellent booster effect if she gets the 2nd shot now.

I would: The recommendation for the interval between the two doses is greater than or equal to 4 weeks apart. This is done in case the first dose did not result in sufficient immunity. Very likely being only a week late will not be a factor. I would take her in anyway. Best wishes:)
