Diagnosed with uti 6 days ago taking antibiotic twice daily bleeding has become worse and pain spread to lower left kidney shouldn't it have improved?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

UTI: You may have an ascending pyelonephritis. That is when bacteria from the bladder ascend the urinary tract and cause a kidney infection. Symptoms are flank pain, fever, chills, hematuria and general feeling of illness. If you are no longer on antibiotics, then you should have a renal ultrasound and a urine culture.
