Acne scar: Are you absolutely certain that you had a Fraxel CO2 treatment? My approach with deep ice pick scars is to reduce the depression first with subcission and filler or fat grafting or if really deep, may need central punch excision with skin grafting and then coming back later to resurface the scars with chemical peel or fractional RF due to high risk of hypo or hyperpigmentation in a fitzpatrick 5.

No: CO2 fraxel is not indicated for ice pick acne scars. 1540 laser can be beneficial after multiple treatments, but these too are limited by the darkness of the skin which is more prone to hyper pigmentation the darker it is. I would recommend reevaluation by another dermatologist
