A member asked:

Lab test shows sensitivity to gluten but no allergy? what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Malabsorption: Gluten sensitivity means your intestines are allergic to a protein which is in foods made from grains (wheat , barley, rye). This allergy is manifested by inability of your intestines to absorb foods (malabsorption). You will need to go on a gluten-free diet
