HPV?: Hi. Lymphocytes are the white blood cells that respond to viral infection. I'm not a gyn, but as far as I know, there's no autoimmune cervicitis, so it probably heralds a viral infection. Have you been HPV tested? Talk with your gyn about the pap results and see if any further testing is indicated. Good luck!
