May need EGD: you might have an esophageal stricture or hiatal hernia. Too much acid reflux can can cause inflammation where your esophagus meets your stomach and cause discomfort as well. You can try a 14 day course of Prilosec to reduce acid and and heal any inflammation but if your symptoms persist you should see a GI for further work up. You may need an EGD to look for the problem

For around 4 days, but my left chest, left foot, and left arm have been weak or tight or numb, and sometimes I get lightheaded, and I find myself burping 3-4 times when drinking anything like water. My average heart beat is 110 bpm and it beats hard.
Any procedures for someone to stop reflux if they have weak les valve with some weak motility in esophagus. Regurdigation bad and i'm on dexilant (dexlansoprazole). Any suggestions since reg. Surgery not an option.?
Can I strengthen my LES? Had esophageal manometry & failed every swallow they did, was told my LES is very loose & weak, how can I strengthen it? Im 22 & actually slightly underweight so weight isnt a cause of this, I also dont drink or smoke ever
