Can endoscopies not show if your esophagus is closing all the way? reflux with burping. sometimes right after drinking water. constant upper ab pain

It is easy to diagno: Acid reflux is easy to diagnose.Endoscopy is done to check the degree of damage(esophagitis. This requires visit with a gastroenterologist. You would benefit from regular use of an antacid like Pepcid (famotidine) or Prilosec at bed time daily.
