Can increase INR: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) (amoxicillin/calvalunate ) can interact with Coumadin (warfarin) to increase the INR. This can increase risk of bleeding. You should call the office of the prescribing doctor and request an antibiotic change. Always keep your medication list with you and show it to provider. This helps to prevent possible interactions.
