Very unlikely: Unless you are training so intense and/or long during those three times per week that you are suffering from overtraining. It would be very difficult for most to do this with only 3 work out days per week, unless they were 4-6 hours/day. Overtraining can lead to a weakened immune system. Still in your case, I would probably look to another contributing factor.
