I was sick with the cold and then i got this cough and have had it for about three weeks now. why do i still have it?? there are some days where i cough more than other days too and in mornings wake up with a tickly throat.

Cough: Post infectious cough is relatively common and symptoms may linger for weeks. Short term symptom relief meds may be needed, symptoms dissipate away eventually. Talk to your doc if your symptoms become intolerable.
