Can mupirocin calcium cream 2% be substituted for bacitracin for skin irritations due to disposable undergarments?

Short term use: If you have minor skin irritation it is ok to use topical antimicrobials. However I would not recommend using it indefinitely as it may cause antibiotic resistance. It is important for you to avoid the undergarments that caused the irritation and prevent it from happening chronically.
