No: Bactroban is mupirocin topical, generally used intranasally for patients with positive nasal swabs for MRSA. Bacitracin is a topical antibiotic generally used for non-invasive, low risk skin infection. Bacitracin is okay for you tatoo, Bactroban is not.

No: they are not the same. Bactroban (mupirocin) is genly for the treatment of resistant staph infections (MRSA). Bacitracin is for cuts and scrapes..it is ok for your tatoo
