Needs blood work : Hi, your father needs blood work done to make sure that his electrolytes are not messed up due to diarrhea and vomiting. Considering his age, he is at higher risk of having dehydration and electrolytes abnormalities. Most probably it is vital gastroenteritis but it should have resolved in 10 days . If he has abdominal pain and tenderness than CT abdomen may be warranted as he has prolonged symp.
