Cold/flu: Well the treatment depends on whether its a cold or the flu. Your OB physician like most of us who do OB have an answering service even after hours. I would call the office and describe your symptoms more clearly. You may or may not have fetal movement now, though some butterfly feelings would be normal. You can take tylenol (acetaminophen) or tylenol (acetaminophen) cold for your symptoms, but I would make that call.

Cold: Hi, Congratulations on being pregnant. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about a viral illness. Especially, one week into it.
