Would an x-ray of my entire spine show any problems with my colon?

No, spine is not: Colon. You need a colonoscopy to look at inside of colon. You need a ct scan or MRI scan to look at outside of colon. If this is a chiropractor who is telling you this, please consult a GI specialist with those x-rays.
