Few Get AdequateCare: Eating disorders r very hard + expensive 2treat effectively. It takes a skilled interdisciplinary team, long stretches of treatmnt (ideally involving patient and close family members) + supportive maintenance. One ed, anorexia nervosa=the most fatal mental disorder: about 10% w/anorexia die from suicide/starvation/metabolic failure/other. Those w/eds often resist/refuse treatmnt &/or often relapse.
