Treatment for "eating disorders" is best done by trained mental health professionals. If this kind of treatment is "not available", self treatment requires instilling strong discipline in reduction of food intake and not using "purging" to avoid weight gain. At "16", parental pressure about diet and nutrition will be difficult to overcome, so it is up to you to control this pattern.

1. Tell your parents or another responsible grown up how you feel if you haven’t yet. 2. Make an app’t for a physical exam, which eating problems can affect, promptly! 3. If you feel that you are going to die, or feel hopeless or suicidal, go to the emergency room now. There IS help for you and your own doctor or the emergency room can help you access that help quicklly. Best of luck to you
