A member asked:

There seems to be some controversy over the use of high-dose vitamin therapy to treat certain diseases--what is your opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rare: High dose vitamins usually not good for anything except for seller. Recent very large study showed 8% reduction in all cancers in group who took one multivitamin a day. Large doses of vit e, d, a etc may be dangerous and in certain diseases even a regular multivite is contraindicated.
