Possibly.: At this point, despite the heavily marketed “miracle technologies", diet and exercise remain the best way to slim the legs and thighs. Sometimes patients do better “investing” in personal trainer and/or nutritionists than wasting time/resources on these technologies ( which generally don't deliver on promises). Surgery, including liposuction surgery, should be option of last resort. Good luck!

Weight loss: Depending on what is making your legs and thighs large, muscle or fat, your legs and thighs may or may not get slimmer after weight loss. If you have large muscles nothing can be done. If it's because of overall fat, weight loss can make them slimmer.

Identify cause first: Patients with excess fatty tissue in certain areas of the body fall into a) genetic or familial reason for excess, b) excessive weight gain, c) lack of exercise, d) excess due to some medical conditions. See your pcp to identify what is the cause and then treat it accordingly.
