See below: Difficult to answer with very limited information? Has it been more than a year since your last period? If yes, you need to see your gyn for an evaluation to rule out the possibility of a precancerous or cancerous uterine lesion. If you're perimenopausal, i typically tell my patients that irregular becomes the regular thing and it can become quite heavy at times.
