Really none: If you have stabbing pain in your eye that is persistent, you really need to go see a doctor. Eyes are critical organs, and severe symptoms should never be ignored or considered to just "wait and see". It would also be helpful to know the context of other symptoms you may be having.

Dry eyes!: Sounds like you have short intermittent pain of the eye. This is usually from dry eyes. I would recommend artificial tears, one drop 4 times a day every day(more often on a as needed basis). Omega-3 supplements by mouth can stimulate more natural tear production for long term.
