Feeling tight: No your feeling of tightness is not normal and you need evaluation. Contact your physician, he is best equipped to help you.

Hard to say...: If you inr is in the protective range, then you should be ok from a pulmonary embolism standpoint; however, anything can happen in medicine! check out the usual causes (trauma, strain, heart attack, heartburn), and treat those. If symptoms do not improve, then you may need another scan -- Coumadin (warfarin) may be the wrong drug for you and may not be working. (do dna testing, for instance).
