Local reaction : This may be a local injection site reaction from piercing the skin. Apply cold compress to the area, control pain and monitor. If worsening call you dr. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/vis/downloads/vis-mmr.pdf is the statement from cdc of the possible effects of the vaccine.
