Get in shape first!: Exercise is good for every aspect of a persons life, especially when participating in sports. What keeps you from getting back to sports again?Is it fear, thinking you are getting too old, is there any element of being a little depressed with loss of drive & motivation? Start with a good physical exam and maybe even brief counseling & gradually get back to the level you would like.

Just start!: It is hard to go back to regular exercise. Usually someone waits for motivation to come. The truth is action is first, and then comes motivation. Force yourself first time to go to gym, then second, and later your body would crave for it. There is a chemistry behind that fact- daily exercise helps your brain to produce endorphines- "hormones of happiness". It feels good.
