Shame: I see this question has been up for quite a while. Shame and fear are closely linked. They both can cause severe problems in ones life. When you first start to feel them they're telling you something is wrong and you should take care of it. The longer you wait the stronger the shame and the fear are and then you don't do anything. You need to talk to someone and get evaluated.
