CRP & IBD: It can be when used in junction with clinical presentation, medical history, physical examination, and to assess response to medication. By it self alone its just a number.

No it is not: CRP test is not a good indicator of crohns disease.Cat scan, endoscopy and colonoscopy can diagnose crohns disease most of the time.CRP may or may not be elevated depending on the degree of inflammation.
