Tongue coating?: Make sure you are hydrated enough and use a tongue scraper daily. If you still have any questions, see your dentist who can actually see your tongue and offer you further suggestions, if appropriate.

Varied answers: The tongue of course has many different types of structure that make it up, and some parts can feel different then others. If you think you are having a problem, it is wise to have the tongue examined by a dentist to conclusively determine if every thing is typical or not.
