Compression : The hose are likely working pushing fluid into the venous system and the central venous pressure increase is being felt in your face.

Hard work: It is likely that what you are experiencing is completely normal. Chances are that you have to bend over to pull your stockings on. If they fit properly and they are tight enough, you probably also have to strain to put them on. Under those circumstances, there aren't many people who won't feel some pressure in their face and head. But a doctor's check up is never a bad idea, if you are worried.
