Why can't i bend the toes on my left foot upward anymore? i also have a limp in my left leg when i walk, but i do not recall injuring myself.

Flexing toes: If there was no injury involved, is there any medical issue you have? Besides limping and flexing the toes upward, do you have any other discomfort or sensation that not happen before? When you limp on left leg, do you feel pain? If yes where, at foot, knee or hip level? I would recommend you to get it check out with the professionals for evaluation.

See a doctor: Sounds like you may have injury to either the extensor muscles or the nerve that goes to the muscle.
