Don't worry: Floating stools are caused by foods that you eat that cause gas production or could be from malabsorption/ not absorbing essential nutrients causing them to be passed in the stool and making the stool float . I'll be concerned if there are other symptoms like weight loss, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, blood in the stool etc then go see your dr
