Excellent question!: Check out mediterranean diet. It's been studied quite a bit and not just in the mediterranean sea. More importantly, it's been associated w/better health including lower risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, alzheimer's disease, etc. And tend to live longer. Newest study proves that it also prevents 1st heart attack. Eat fish & lean meats. Veggies, too. Beans are good source of protein & fiber.
