What are the treatments available for adenoids in kids?

Adenoid hypertrophy: Enlarged adenoids may cause snoring/sleep apnea/sleep distrurbances. If adenoid enlargement is causing sleep apnea or chronic sinus/ear infections your doctor may prescribe a nasal steroid spray to try to shrink adenoids, control allergy symptoms and if it does not work may refer to ENT for possible adenoidectomy.
