A member asked:

My son has been sneezing a lot lately. i have tried giving him anti-histamine as treatment and a nasal spray but it's not helping. its been a year since he had his adenoids removed. not sure what to do.

Some basics: Sneezing is a natural response in an effort to remove irritants from the sensitive inner linings of the nose. Adenoids have nothing to do with it. A gentile nasal saline wash can help remove irritants. Avoiding fumes, smoke, perfumes, dust, odors, etc. can reduce the irritant triggers. Sometimes a nasal steroid spray can help. If it persists have him seen.
