A member asked:

Are the symptoms if endometrial cancer bleeding if you're in menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: Postmenopausal bleeding is a symptom of endometrial cancer, but it can also indicate a number of other causes. Sometimes it can be due to a thinned lining of the uterus, which can bleed b/c it is fragile and unstable; can be due to certain tumors of the ovary. It can be due to infections of the vagina. It can be due to vaginal tears. But it definitely requires evaluation by the gynecologist.
