Years: Cancer, in general, takes many years-to-decades to develop. An infection with h. Pylori may never cause a cancerous change in the stomach.

Probably never: H pylori is the most important risk factor for the common stomach cancer but the vast majority of folks with the bug never get cancer as a result. Hope you are able to get yours eradicated.
