Baby prefers C/S.: In broad terms, a repeat cesarean delivery without labor is the safest for the baby. Both options are extremely safe for the mother in the U.S. - slightly increased risk with cesarean. If you are planning to have your tubes tied for permanent sterilization you are better off scheduling your repeat cesarean delivery at 39 weeks with btl to be done at the same time. Talk to your obstetrician!
