Safer for whom: Vbac's are very controversial in medicine. At one point almost no one was delivering vaginally after c/s. Now more are performed. For mom clearly the risks are greater for vbac. C/s generally safe. However emergent research is showing benefits for babies born vaginally including reduced asthma and allergies. The decision should really be made with OB based on your personal risks.
