A member asked:

Hi i am currently 31 weeks pregnant and had c section with my 1st baby 13 yrs ago. now i would love to have vbac but my gynae had advised me that he hasn't done one in 12 yrs and didn't show any interest. can i change to a widwife and is it wise?

Seek another ob ASAP: It would not be wise to "change to a midwife" unless she works in close collaboration with a board certified knowledgeable and caring obstetrician who has experience with VBAC and is capable of performing a repeat Cesarian if that becomes necessary.
